Even before I graduated from law school, I worked for the district attorney’s office. Within ten years, I became the chief district court prosecutor for all the courts in my region, overseeing five courts and ten attorneys.
I loved the courtroom and was skilled at achieving results there. However, I often felt conflicted about the impact of my work, especially when it involved making people’s lives more difficult. This led me to leave the prosecutor’s office and establish a private practice as a defense attorney. In this role, I can use my skills to improve people’s lives on a daily basis.
